About the event
In these days we all realise how vital our trees are, and many of us are taking action by planting one in our own gardens. But how to plant them properly? And how to make sure they get the best start in life and care for them so they grow up healthy and strong? Trees have an amazing relationship with not only each other, but the wider environment. Amazing things happen underground, where there is an important connection between the soil, roots and fungi, that if wasn’t there, it is arguable there wouldn’t be life on earth today. This workshop will not only cover practical issues such as positioning, planting, staking, feeding and watering, it will also increase your understanding of the wonderful wood-wide web beneath our feet.
