About the event
Explore the garden and discover what we are doing to welcome and live in harmony with garden wildlife - from never using chemicals, to leaving grass to grow longer in places, to adding ponds, to making our own compost, to putting up bug houses, and much more. We are partnering with Kent Wildlife Trust for this event and all ticket sales (£5 to be paid at entrance on the day) will go towards the work of this important charity.
- Kent Wildlife Trust's 'Wild About Gardens' team on hand to give advice and tips on wildlife friendly gardening
- Specialists on hand to give advice on: hedgehogs, composting and soil care,
- Eco-garden centre Edibleculture stall selling wildlife friendly gardening items (e.g. bird boxes, bug houses, pollinator-friendly plants)
- Hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes for sale.
- Plants for sale.
