Drawing and Painting Open Day

The garden will be hosting a day to draw, paint and make marks on Sun 3rd September. 

Hide yourself away on a swing seat around the lake and draw the view, or come with a group of friends and

place yourself in the wildflower meadow for botanical close ups. You are welcome to paint or draw whatever or wherever you want. Just turn up and find yourself a nice spot. The garden will be open from 10.30-4.30, with a communal lunch break from 1.00-2.00pm. 

Playful Nature Art for Grown Ups - Optional Activity with Merike Sein

If you would like some inspiration at the start of the day, you are welcome to join artist, Merike Sein to play with and explore mark making with natural finds you gather from the garden. These may be reeds, moss, soil, pebbles for printing or making colours from squashed berries or leaves. We can…
